Giovanni Sylos Labini

Chief Executive Officer at Planetek Italia. He is also BoD Member of D-Orbit S.p.A., Vice Chairman of EARSC (European Association of Remote Sensing Companies), and Board member at SME4SPACE (the European Space SMEs Association) and AIPAS (the Italian Space Industries Association). Degree in Physics. He is an author of several economic and scientific publications on space economics and space systems. Since 1984, he has collaborated on several Earth Observation projects with the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and NASA. He was a director of the ASI Center of Space Geodesy facility. He has also served as an Italian delegate to the European Space Agency’s Earth Observation Program Board and as a Professor at IUAV – University of Venice, Italy.
