Christian Fuchs

Christian Fuchs is heading the Optical Satellite Links department at DLR’s Institute of Communications and Navigation. He has more than 20 years of experience in free-space optical communications research. His work has covered the development of laser terminals for airborne and satellite platforms, the investigation of laser beam propagation through atmospheric channels, and contributions to satellite-based quantum key distribution systems, among other areas.
